At 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, Rortvedt doesn’t strike you as a power hitter, but he’s certainly capable thanks to advanced strength in his hands and forearms. He is arguably one of the strongest players in the class, pound-for-pound, and he generates good bat speed, squaring balls up with backspin from the left side. He also has a good transfer behind the plate with average arm strength.
