Iowa

9/13/17 - Currently ranked No. 11 in the Wisconsin Class of 2020. 5-foot-9, 145-pound wiry, right-handed hitting shortstop. Stands out defensively, good instincts with good jumps on contact. Made a play going in the hole on a hard hit ball, strong, accurate throw across the infield. Offensively leg lift timing, hard line drive contact in game. Turned in a plus run time on a 4-3 groundout, 4.18 down the line.

 

Matt Miller, C, Sussex Hamilton, 2018
Madison JC

7/25/17 - 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher with a strong frame. Stands out for his defensively work behind the plate. Has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Accurate throws with carry throwing 80 mph out of the crouch. Athletic actions, quick out of the crouch with fluid footwork and soft hands. Popped 2.00-2.07. Offensively hits from a balanced, slightly open setup with a short stride and good balance. Pull hitter with a short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 8.00.

Tate Carter, RHP, Brookfield Central, 2018
UW-Whitewater

9/17/17 - 6-foot-3, 175-pound right-handed pitcher with a lanky, projectable frame. On the mound, short arm action, high ¾ arm slot, tall and fall delivery, works on-line, lands square, finishes upright. Fastball, commanded, flashed cut, 81-83 mph, touching 84. Slider, 10/4 shape, depth, fastball arm speed, has feel for, 71-74. Changeup, mostly straight, 66-71. Used fastball/slider combination effectively to keep batters guessing.  

Alex Ostrowski, LHP, Green Bay East, 2018
Ripon

9/17/17 - 6-foot-3, 195-pound, lanky right-handed pitcher with wide shoulders. On the mound, long arm action, ¾ arm slot, tall and fall delivery, lands square, finishes upright. Fastball, flashed run, controlled, 74-76 mph. Curveball, 2/8 shape, 65-67. Slider, downward action, 67. Changeup, fade action, 70-71. Splitter, slight tumble, 67-79. 

Marshall Lehmann, RHP, Monona Grove, 2018
Carthage

3/12/17 - 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed pitcher with a small, strong frame. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action. Tall and fall delivery with a square landing and good balance. Fastball sat 78-80 mph for strikes. Slider has sweeping action at 66-69 mph for strikes. Changeup has fading action at 70-72 mph. 

Kyle Humphres, LHP, Tremper, 2018
College of Lake County

1/28/17 - 6-foot-2, 160-pound left-handed hitting LHP/1B. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short, stiff arm action. Tall and fall delivery working in line with home plate. Short stride with regular effort. Fastball flashed sinking action at 71-73 mph. Curveball has 1-7 shape at 61-65 mph. Changeup sat 62-65 mph. Offensively hits from a balanced, open setup with a drop load and short stride. Uphill swing path. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.61 runner down the line. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with average hands. Threw 71 mph across the infield.
