Power 25 Update: Week 3
April 25, 2016
By Steve Nielsen
Scouting Supervisor – Wisconsin/Illinois
The biggest move in week three inside the top ten was the fall of Sun Prairie from No. 3 to No. 9. The Cardinals we 7-0 going into the week with some late game heroics and fell twice this past week to both Janesville teams, No. 2 Craig and Parker.
Sun Prairie’s fall lifted everyone else one spot as every other team inside the top ten took care of business with undefeated week’s.
The Southeast Conference heats up this week as No. 3 Kenosha Indian Trail will face No. 5 Kenosha Tremper twice this week. A split, likely won’t do too much damage to either team, but if either can manage a sweep its likely to cement them in the top three for a while.
No. 8 Eau Claire Memorial jumped three spots into the top 10 after beating No. 11 Eau Claire North and remains unbeaten at 5-0.
