Scouting Report: (Earlier this summer in PBR+ 16u Invitational Tournament) 6-foot-4, 245-pound right-handed hitting 1B/3B impresses with size and power potential. Built like a pulling guard in football (which he is), but impresses with nimble feet around the bag at first base. Played adequately at third as well, showing off range going back for an over the shoulder catch in foul territory. Power bat is his calling card. Went 3-for-3 in the final game on Friday, with two homers, one a walk-off to win it. First home run was a towering fly ball to left center, that he actually looked fooled on for a moment. Kept hands back and went down and got a pitch down in the zone. Second homer was line shot to left no more than eight feet off the ground. Hits from an open stance, hands are relaxed, has a bit of pre-pitch waggle, short, aggressive path, slightly uphill, creates natural lift in swing. Plus bat speed (101 mph exit velocity at a past event). Ranked No. 15 in Wisconsin, high follow power prospect.
