As the 2024 baseball season comes to a close, Prep Baseball Washington continues our offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

Today, we spotlight 2026 RHP Will Turba. The Mercer Island High School arm had a sound showing in a bullpen at Seattle Summer ID - Session II this July, after a previous winter showing at the Seattle Preseason ID - Session II. The uncommitted arm features plus spin rates and a four-pitch mix from a unique arm slot.

Turba uses his strong, longer frame to work down the mound, with high vertical break numbers giving added life to his FB as well. Both breaking balls feature plus spin rates and sharp break, playing well to the bottom of the zone. The CH rounds out Turba's arsenal, generating some natural run with his lower arm slot. Turba should have plenty of opportunities to eat innings this spring and will be an interesting follow moving forward.
