West Seattle & Enumclaw (3.16.24)
West Seattle
'24 RHP/OF Miles Chandler, Washington State Commit
Chandler dominated on the bump Saturday night, throwing 5 no-hit innings while striking out 7 and walking 4. Features a long, fluid delivery with tall, athletic frame. Primarily fastball/slider but mixes in changeup occasionally. Works down mound with plus extension, giving fastball more life. Works very quickly. An uncomfortable at bat all night, should be a dominant arm for West Seattle this season.

'24 2B/3B Bobby Trigg, Bellevue College Commit
The right-handed senior impressed on both sides of the ball despite a quiet day for the West Seattle offense. Relaxed stance at the plate with quiet pre-pitch. Extends through contact, meeting ball out in front. Soft hands and quick feet at second base. A leader on the diamond.

'24 OF/RHP Matthew Henning, Washington Commit
Henning, a key middle of the order bat for West Seattle, finished 1-2 with a BB on Saturday. Athletic mover with a plus arm in the field. At the plate, showed ability to find hard contact. Loose, free barrel action through the zone from the right side. Senior should be primed for a big season at the plate for the Wildcats.

'24 SS/RHP Caden Fahy, Pennsylvania Commit
The strong-framed senior had a quiet night at the plate, but it was easy to see the potential on display throughout the night. Fluid mover at SS, showcased range on multiple plays. Disciplined, steady approach at the plate, worked deep counts. Quiet pre-pitch setup with compact swing path.
Enumclaw
'24 LHP Alec Johnson, Wenatchee Valley College Commit
Getting the start on the mound, Johnson turned in an impressive performance, finishing with 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB and 4 K's. Over-top delivery gave fastball added life, also heavily featured a breaking ball with vertical drop. Induced soft contact throughout. Repeatable delivery with longer arm action. Should be a key arm for Enumclaw this season.

'26 RHP/INF Oliver Potts, Uncommitted
Medium-framed, stocky right hander threw 2 scoreless innings of relief, keeping hitters off balance consistently. Primarily FB/SL, mixed both pitches in all counts. Controlled delivery with momentum carried 1B side through finish. An intruiging arm to follow moving forward.

'25 RHP/2B Cooper Markham, Oregon Commit
One of the top arms in the 2025 class, Markham showcased his versatility on Saturday night, playing a solid second base and laying down a clutch suicide squeeze to extend the Enumclaw lead. Long frame, moved quickly laterally in field. Will be a key contributor for the Hornets moving forward.

Anderson kick-started the Enumclaw offense in the 6th inning with a towering opposite-field double. Flatter barrel path with bend in levers at contact. Room to grow into already athletic frame. Center fielder with ability to run down balls in gaps.
A lot of zeroes back and forth in this one…

Short swing path with firm front side at contact. Finished 1-3 with a BB at the dish. Made all plays at him at 3B, strong arm across the diamond.
