Summary - Last year’s 4A state champs return several key players on both sides of the ball for the 2024 campaign. The top of the order should feature outfielder and Washington commit Grady Woodward, a strong presence with championship experience. Catcher Jack Edmunds brings a strong bat and leadership to the squad as well.

The top of the order will also feature Tyler Griffin and Thomas Wood. Griffin, coming off of an impressive 4-4 performance in last year’s state championship, looks to carry his momentum into a big 2024 season.

Noah Koong and Cody O’Donnell are projected to be strong defensively up the middle for the Wolves while providing impact in the middle of the order. Defense should be a strong suit in general for the Wolves in 2024.

The rotation should feature several older arms as well despite losing valuable seniors, with Cody O’Donnell, Andrew Recob, Thomas Wood, and Dom Miller expected to get looks early. The staff is also likely to feature promising young arms Keegan Mattson and Rodrigo Montano in the mix. The staff boasts impressive depth and should keep Eastlake in games consistently.

Head coach Frank Smith is looking forward to exciting matchups with Woodinville and North Creek early on. With impact across the diamond, Eastlake should have another great opportunity to make a run at state this season.
