Quinn Burnham SS / 2B / Shorecrest, WA / 2025
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-6, 140-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Stands tall in the box with upright posture and lower half open to pitcher. Closes off direction with a low, controlled leg lift with short forward stride. Rotates from backside and sits back in stance to initiate swing. Narrow base at contact with a posted lead leg Hands start tight, just above back shoulder then shift down and back to launch swing. Rotates in a tight window as barrel attacks the ball with an uphill approach angle, generating consistent lift. Hands stay tight to core and work inside of the ball
Power: 85.4 max exit velocity, averaged 80.2 MPH. 314' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-78 mph.Loose, easy arm action with a short path after hand break. Uses glove tap for timing/rhythm as throwing motion syncs up with footwork. Mainly releases from a low 3/4 slot but flashes higher release when working to backhand side. Shows feel for speed of the play & knows when to get the ball out
Defense: Shows feel for speed of the play & knows when to get the ball out. Light on his feet with body control and athleticism through the play. Controls glove hand with a confident demeanor. The ball sticks in the mitt once it hits leather. Easy actions on the exhange & double play feeds. Plays low easily

Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-8, 142-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Base starts wide with lower half open and upper half rotated inward towards pitcher. Uses a low leg lift and hover before taking quick forward stride. Stays tall in stance with head behind the ball. Drives off of backside at contact. Hands start above back shoulder with a flatter bat angle. Hands lower slightly as he adjusts bat angle and prepares to initiate swing. Loose hands with some wrists in the swing create some barrel whip into contact. Uphill finish produces mainly LD contact. Consistent tempo and contact ability on this look
Power: 78 max exit velocity, averaged 71.9 MPH. 271' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-71 mph.Ultra short, bent arm action throughout. Ball comes out quick on the exchange and he keeps throwing arm tight to core. Gets more length through release and stays behind the ball
Defense: Quick, active footwork, especially when moving laterally. Slight hip hinge when approaching the play then sinks down in hips to work beneath the ball. Controls glove hand with confidence. Follows the throw after release

Body: 5-11, 145-pounds.
Hit: . Lower half starts open to pitcher with slight inward turn from shoulders. Feet outside shoulder width and posture straight up to begin. Low, controlled leg lift with slight hover on backside. Lands balanced with noticable tension in core. Quick rotation from the ground up into contact. Hands start tight to back shoulder and create some vertical bat angle early in set-up. Stretch down and back during stride and help barrel get on plane earlier. Strong wrists control the swing and keep everything connected. Gap to gap type power with a more level swing plane
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 76.8 MPH. 307' max distance.
Arm: INF-76 mph.Exchanges into throwing motion with consistent side shuffle footwork and a glove tap. Low 3/4 release with clean arm action and a loose finish out front.
Defense: Sets up wide in pre-pitch then takes a deep squat prior to initial move. Hips sink extremely low and chest stays upright. Feet show some quickness in first step with solid lateral agility. Soft glove hand throughout that holds onto everything once it touches leather.
