State Games Spotlight - '26 INF/RHP Quinten Johns
November 18, 2024
Throughout the winter, Prep Baseball Washington is reflecting upon their showcase circuit in 2024 and highlighting standout performers. We continue with our State Games Spotlight series, specifically looking at players that participated in this year's invite-only Pacific Northwest State Games. These spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward at the summer's biggest event. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
Today, we spotlight 2026 INF/RHP Quinten Johns. The Jackson High School product had a great showing at the PNW State Games, flashing several tools throughout the event. A sound two-way athlete, Johns has plenty of upside to dream on as he enters his junior high school season this spring.
The 6'0 prospect started the event with an impressive 6.94 second 60-yard dash time, followed by sound defensive reps in the infield with accurate throws across the diamond. Johns also showcased a smooth left-handed swing with a short-to-long approach that played to all fields. The athlete continued his strong performance into gameplay, where he largely filled up the zone on the mound. Below is a complete breakdown of the junior, including scouting reports and video from the event.
