Pacific Northwest State Games - Quick Hits - 2026 Graduates

Dylan Grenz
Associate Scout

Last week, Prep Baseball hosted the first ever Pacific Northwest State Games. This three day event held at Heritage High School in Vancouver, WA showcased some of the top talent the area has to offer. High school players invited from the 2025-2028 graduating classes competed in both workout-style and in-game settings. PBR's mission is for prospects to face high-level competition and gain as much exposure as possible, in order to truly determine the best of the best prospects in the PNW and help pave the way for playing baseball at the next level.

Today, we release our 2026 Quick Hits, featuring scouting notes on standout rising juniors. Prospects are listed alphabetically by last name. With over 180 prospects attending our first ever State Games, the level of overall talent on display was at an all-time high for a PNW event. As a result, many talented prospects will be omitted from this article, but we encourage viewing full event statistics, results, and rosters by clicking here.

Pacific Northwest State Games

Quick Hits - 2026 Graduates

'26 1B/LHP Quinton Allen-Greggs (Davis)
Produced in-game on both sides of the baseball. Up to 85 MPH from the LH side with a repeatable delivery and a tucked gloveside. Featured a CH/CB combination as well. The switch-hitter also had some of the loudest contact throughout the week with multiple hits from both sides of the plate. Peaked at a 97.5 MPH exit velo with plus bat and hand speed in BP rounds.

'26 MIF Kanata Barber (Shorewood)
The sweet-swinging lefty was on the barrel throughout the week, including a massive bases clearing double in-game. Hands separate from body in load with firm front side at contact. Creates some natural LH loft from wiry frame. Makes the routine play up the middle with athletic movements. Continuously solid looks this spring and summer.

'26 OF Tommy Belle (Bishop Blanchet)
One of the more advanced hitters in the '26 class, Belle impressed with a long LH swing that consistently generated loft and hard contact. Finished second in the event with a 385 foot shot in BP, with a 100.1 MPH max exit velo as well. Rotates extremely quickly through the zone. Athleticism should play in a corner OF spot long term with plus arm strength shown earlier this summer. Uncommitted bat to watch.

'26 RHP Caleb Campbell (Monroe)
Flashed true 4-pitch mix with FB peaking at 88.5 MPH and a SL as his main secondary delivery. Delivers from a longer, loose arm action with slight cross-body finish. 3/4 slot release results in some natural run on the heater, but can play to all quadrants. Lean 6'3 frame with room to grow suggests exciting upside, but Campbell already looks the part of a strong HS arm.

'26 RHP Sam Courtney (Woodinville)
Fresh off of a strong Future Games showing in Georgia, Courtney flashed plus stuff yet again in his State Games outing. FB in the mid to upper 80's had added life with spin rates north of 2400 RPM, paired with a sharp CB with a peak spin rate of 2559 RPM. Attacks the zone from a compact arm action and high 3/4 slot release, showing late intent moving down the mound.

'26 RHP/INF Quade Gonzalez IV (Othello)
One of the bigger statement performances of the week on both sides of the ball, but partucularly on the mound. FB sat 86-88 paired with a mid 70's SL with spin rates north of 2400 RPM. Athetic mover down the mound with quick, whippy release. Also had multiple hits offensively from the RH side and peaked with a 97.2 MPH exit velo during BP rounds. Exciting upside as frame continues to fill out.

'26 C/RHP Tilden Hsu (Lakeside)
Another standout at PBR's Future Games that carried over his strong showing to the PNW State Games. Set a new best on the mound topping out at 90.4 MPH but showed ability to change speeds and eye level. Rides lower half well down the mound with long, fluid hand break and a higher 3/4 slot release. Also switch hits, with a stronger LH bat, and is an advanced defender behind the plate when catching. Continues to improve with each look.

'26 RHP/SS Kealoha Kepo'o Sabate (Meadowdale)
Yet another two-way talent whose arm continues to make major strides. Uber-athlete with confidence on the mound. FB topped at 91.2, second best of the event, and a SL that he could add and subtract with. Repeatable delivery with even more in the tank with time. Also showcased simple approach at the plate with balanced setup and tight levers at contact. Peaked 98.0 MPH exit velo. High-end prospect.

'26 OF/RHP Jace Litten (Churchill)
Athletic frame that projects. Rides backside at the plate with bend in levers at contact. Racked up several hits throughout the week. 6.84 runner with a shorter stride. Up to 86 MPH throws from the outfield, can plug and play in all three spots. Also flashed three-pitch mix with potential for some stuff jumps with some more polish. Intruiging all-around player.

'26 RHP/INF Christopher Moore (Kentlake/Washington)
Strong, medium framed righty had a solid showing. Impressive BP rounds, was under control with easy hand speed. Averaged 89.4 MPH exit velo. Different look on the mound, with a lower slot and slight cross-body action. FB sat in the mid 80's, partnered with a SL as his best secondary flashing spin rates north of 2500 RPM. Makes the routine play at SS as well, arm suggests a long term stick on the left side as a position player.

'26 OF Ellis Oeltjen (Bellevue)
Athletic prospect was among the event's best in several categories, including running a 6.68 60-yard dash and blasting a 381 foot shot in BP. Bat carried over in-game with several squared up baseballs. Starts with low hands stacked vertically, larger leg kick widens base while maintaining balance. Moves well laterally in the OF with potential to stick in center in the future. Intruiging upside.

'26 INF/RHP Jimmy Pratapas (Mount Si)
Topped the event with an 87 MPH toss across the diamond and showed smooth fielding actions to pair. Showed a simple approach at the plate with no stride and a flatter path, collecting multiple hits in-game and hitting the ball hard consistently in BP rounds. Up to 87 MPH on the mound with a CH/SL combination as well.

'26 RHP Maxwell Schweyen (Puyallup)
One of the top '26 arms, Schweyen continued his breakout season with a strong showing in the State Games. FB topped at 89 MPH, consistently sitting 86-88, with above average spin rates. Plus breaking ball with spin rates north of 2800 RPM produced loopy, sweeping action. Controlled pace in delivery, sinks into back leg to drive through target. High end arm talent.

'26 C Ethan Swallom (North Creek)
Quietly producing strong looks in spring and summer action, Swallom flashed 2.00-2.08 pop times while peaking at 79 MPH from behind the dish. Maintains balance and quiet head through leg lift pre-pitch. Firm front side at contact with a controlled two-hand finish. Medium framed athlete.

'26 LHP/1B August Ware (Glencoe)
Imposing 6'5 frame with room to grow. Up to 86 MPH from the left side, sat 82-84. CH/SL/CB combo made up secondary offerings, CH showing the most promise with some heavy left-handed run. Easy, repeatable delivery with high hand break and momentum carried toward 3B side post release.

'26 RHP AJ Welch (Monroe)
Upper 80's FB, topping at 88.1 MPH, to pair with a CH/SL/CB combination. Kills spin well on the CH and can change shape on breakers. Longer, loose arm action, maintains armspeed well on offspeed deliveries. Potential for another jump in velocity with increased ride of lower half downhill, but already a strong underclass arm.
