Future Games Spotlight: '26 OF Dylan Mamiya (Kennewick)

Prep Baseball

Nearly 600 uncommitted underclassmen traveled to LakePoint Sports in Emerson, Ga. for the Prep Baseball Future Games this past July. After a 2023 event in which more than 375 college coaches were in attendance, a total of 425 coaches were out in full force at this year's edition. Of the nearly 600 uncommitted players, over 250 are now Division I commits (and counting), with 6 of those players being from Team PNW.

Today, we spotlight Dylan Mamiya. The 2026 graduate attended several Prep Baseball events this past year including the Future Games. Below are scouting reports, videos, and other player information from each of these events.

Peak EV topped at 98.1 mph.

One of the tests players went through at Future Games was a vision testing analysis administered by Vizual Edge. Mamiya scored in the top 10% out of the 567 players who took these visual tests.  Mamiya scored an 85.54. Players were assessed on six individual exercises, testing one of the six core visual skills: Alignment, Depth Perception, Convergence, Divergence, Recognition. Mamiya has shown impressive bat-to-ball skills this year, across 3 Prep Baseball events, his 34.2% hard-hit rate (the percentage of batted balls over 95 mph in a given year) during BP showings easily ranks in the upper 1/3 of showcase participants in the class nationally.

Set new high marks with his speed, posting an event best 6.76 in the 60 and touching 83 mph from the OF. Offensively continued to spray hard contact to all fields and was able to display his plus speed on the bases while splitting the gap for some XBHs. Has the profile to stick in CF long-term while adding a new dynamic to his offsive profile with more power and raw output than previous years. One of the top remaining bats in the class overall.
