Top-10 Profiles of 2021: No. 9, JT Rican
December 27, 2021
As we approach the end of 2021, we're taking account of the PBR Washington player profile pages to determine the players in our backyard whose profiles earned the most attention throughout the year. We're counting down the top-10 profiles in the state that received the most views, starting at 10 and on, concluding our countdown on New Year's Day by revealing the most-viewed profile of the year.
INF/OF JT Rican (Bishop Blanchet) possesses one of the state’s most athletic skill-sets and the Oregon commit checks in at ninth overall on our countdown. A 6-foot-1, 190-pound projectable prospect, Rican came away a winner at the Upperclass Northwest Preseason Invite this past February. There, he cruised to a near event-best 6.57 in the 60-yard dash and consistently peppered hard contact during his BP round, leading the event in average exit velocity (96 mph) with a 101.6 mph max output. Rican’s athleticism translated to the infield as well, showing off smooth, sure-handed actions that are capable of sticking up the middle in the long run. Rican's success on the field garnered some national recognition this summer as he earned an invite to the Royals Area Codes squad.
