Top-10 Profiles of 2021: No. 5, Luke Klooster
December 29, 2021
As we approach the end of 2021, we're taking account of the PBR Washington player profile pages to determine the players in our backyard whose profiles earned the most attention throughout the year. We're counting down the top-10 profiles in the state that received the most views, starting at 10 and on, concluding our countdown on New Year's Day by revealing the most-viewed profile of the year.
Fifth on our end of the year countdown is C Luke Klooster (O’Dea, 2024). The 5-foot-10, 165-pound backstop is a top-20 prospect in the state’s current sophomore class and was a standout at this year’s PBR Future Games, playing up an age level. There, Klooster earned Player of the Game honors for his performance against Team Nevada and was featured on Shooter Hunt’s “All-Future Games Team”, having this to say about his week:
“Klooster collected four hits in Team Pacific Northwest's three games, and that includes his two-run homer against Nevada. The incoming sophomore is one of Washington's top athletes, and it was here at the PBR Future Games that Klooster demonstrated a big step forward offensively, against premium competition.”
