QUICK HITS

PNW Senior Games (10.12.24)

'25 1B/3B Will Balcom (Tri-Cities Prep)
Strong, physical prospect in 6'2 frame. Powerful right-handed swing with plus bat and hand speed through the zone. Peak bat speed of 80.1 MPH. Ball jumps off the bat when on time. Peak exit velo of 99.2 MPH in batting practice was near the top of the event leaderboard. Bat translated in-game with a screaming line drive of a home run. Sound athlete for size, moves well in the infield.

'25 OF/RHP Jackson Bell (Liberty)
Plenty of tools on display throughout. Lean 6'3 frame for plenty of room to grow into more strength. Quickness that translates into the OF, ran a 6.73 60-yard dash time. Quiet, balanced setup from the RH side with firm front side through contact. Bat flashed potential in-game as well with multiple solid swings. Easy arm strength in the OF, carries momemtum through throws peaking at 86 MPH. Exciting upside.

'25 3B/SS Sawyer Enderle (Silverton)
Bat-first prospect with strong frame. Flatter approach at the dish with powerful levers throughout. Starts in slightly open RH stance into a toe-tap load. Compact levers and quiet head. Consistent hard contact generated with a peak EV of 96.2 MPH and an average of 91.2 MPH in BP rounds. Smooth defender on the left side of the diamond with soft hands. 7.42 second 60-yard dash time.

'25 1B Ryan Hartnett (Lake Washington)
Imposing 6'3, 230 pound frame. At the plate, stays connected in wide, strong lower half throughout. Accelerates through contact with two-hand finish. Easy hard contact generated through frame with a peak exit velo of 100.4 MPH. Topped the event with a 386 foot shot during BP rounds. 1B only type with ability to move laterally and throw from multiple slots. 7.54 second 60-yard dash runner.

'25 1B/OF Colby Herren (Canby)
Lefty with athletic 6'1, 200 pound frame. At the plate, starts in wider, balanced base. Rides back half to generate loft and consistent hard contact. Had a peak exit velo of 98.2 MPH with a 373 foot shot the highlight of his BP rounds. Solid athlete ran a 7.06 second 60 yard dash. Some quickness present at 1B, moves feet with a compact arm slot to throw.

'25 RHP Calvin Martinez (Jesuit)
6'0 right hander threw the ball well during in-game portion of the event. Retired 11 of 13 batters faced with 5 strikeouts. FB/CH/SL mix shown with feel for all three offerings. FB topped at 80.5 MPH with both secondaries sitting in the low 70's. Lower spin rates on all pitches with slot and look could suggest a possible jump in velocity coming. One of the best pitching showings from the event.

'25 SS/2B Jace McGowan (Grants Pass)
Athletic middle infielder with fundamentally sound all-around game. LH bat starts with barrel flat on shoulder pre-pitch with longer upper half turn into load. Quick, whippy swing with two-hand finish. Peak exit velo of 95.6 MPH with a 363 foot shot in BP rounds. Showed patient approach in-game at the plate. 7.13 60-yard dash time. Vocal leader, plays with confidence. Should be poised for strong bounceback season.

'25 SS/2B Andre Muneton (Auburn Riverside)
Fluid defender with quick hands and plus arm in medium frame. Topped the event with an 85 MPH throw across the diamond. Consistent BP rounds with line drive approach. Impressive 88 MPH average exit velo, found the barrel with ease. Bat translated in-game with a ringing double off the wall in dead center field. Had another single and a pair of walks as well. Ran a 7.27 second 60-yard dash. Overall smoothness to game.

'25 1B/3B Liam Ostrom (Ridgefield)
High intent shown throughout. Powerful 6'3, 245 pound frame. Topped the event with a 104.5 MPH max and a 93.4 MPH average exit velo. Barrel travels quickly through the zone and extends through contact. Sinks into back side to generate loft to the pull side. Standout BP rounds in particular, left the yard multiple times.

'25 RHP Octavian Wells (Emerald Ridge)
6'0 righthander with athleticism on the mound. FB topped out at 86 MPH, sitting largely in the low 80's throughout in-game appearance. SL/CH as main secondary offerings. Longer gather and arm action into a lower 3/4 slot release gives natural run on FB/CH. Sweepier action on SL with depth sitting 72-75 MPH. Upside potential.
