Thursday, July 25th kicked off game action at the inaugural 2024 Senior Future Games at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, Georgia, after Wednesday's evening workout slots were rained out. Players from Virginia and DC combine with players from North Carolina, Maryland, and Delaware to form Team Mid-Atlantic in this year's Senior Future Games. Below are Quick Hit highlights and notes from Saturday's final game of the Senior Future Games:

Gavin Angelillo C / RHP / NANSEMOND-SUFFOLK ACADEMY, VA / 20256-0, 200 pound frame. Athletic stance, low leg kick stride, minimal load. Uphill swing path with strength at contact and extension, shows easy power to pull side. Was 86-89, touching 90 on the mound on Thursday and ran a 6.98 60 yard dash this week.

Brian Archer C / 1B / Steward , VA / 20256-1, 185 pound frame, balanced athletic stance. Simple easy swing, very short path to ball with hands staying inside, slightly uphill line drive swing path with an all fields approach.

JT Brown SS / 3B / MATOACA HIGH, VA / 2025In the game video, goes the other way for a double up the righ centerfield alley. 6-1, 180 pound frame, athletic stance, leg kick stride, short load back. Simple swing, short to ball, easy effort to swing, uphill through contact with extension, shows power.

Danny Kilgore RHP / 2B / Hanover, VA / 20256-2, 185 pound frame, drop and drive delivery. Lower three-quarters arm slot with a longer arm action. Fastball was 86-88 with some bore to armside and a bit of depth. Slider was 75-77, got swings and misses, and had late hard 11/5 action.

Gabriel Pegues OF / OF / McLean, VA / 2025Springy athlete with a big arm in center. 6-2, 192 pound frame. Ran a 6.81 60-yard dash on Wednesday. Very short swing, keeps hands tight, slightly uphill swing path and shows some gap power.
