On Tuesday, March 13, West Potomac opened its season against W.T. Woodson. It was a colder evening with gametime temperature around 40 degrees. Not much wind at field level, but it was blowing slightly out to center.

West Potomac

Jack Bachmore OF/LHP 2019
Bachmore has an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a slightly open athletic stance. Strides on line, short load back, hips rotate completely and has a good base and balance. He showed some batspeed at the plate, line drive swing with some doubles potential. Works slightly uphill and has a pull preference, gets around the ball at times. On the mound, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders closed and lands closed with an athletic finish. Fasball was 76-78, touching 79 with some downward plane and a bit of sink. Showed a sharp 1/7 curveball with good armspeed that was 68-69.
