The Highland Hawks are coming off a big season that saw their first state title. They look to extend their dominant 2022 into the new year and have talent that will give them a great chance of repeating.
Classification: VISAA Division II 2022 Record: 29-2 *Division II State Champions*
Key Losses: Connor McAuley (Randolph-Macon), Julian La Bella (EMU), Garrett Pancione (Radford), George Rizzo (GW), Nate Dulevitz (Mary Washington)
New Faces: Kehler Hamilton (Elon) & Dagan Kitner
The reigning VISAA Division II State Champions are back and maybe better than ever. There will be some questions to answer at the plate, as they lost the production of Connor McAuley (Randolph-Macon), Garrett Pancione (Radford), Julian La Bella (Eastern Mennonite), and George Rizzo (George Washington), but there is plenty of offensive talent underneath for the Hawks. Blagen Pado (Longwood), Luke Craddock (ECU), Ryan Gimbel (Eastern Mennonite), Joey Rogers, Justin Summers (Dayton), and Kehler Hamilton (Elon) are just a few of the names you need to know in the Hawks' offensive lineup. It is fair to say that Highland is the favorite in VISAA Division II, as well as one of the best teams in the state.
