Banks Northington, 3B/RHP, Charlottesville, 2016
Northington committed to Gettysburg. Northington stands 6-foot-2 with an athletic frame. He has a smooth, tall and fall delivery and throws from an over-the-top slot. He has a short, free, arm action and a quick armstroke that generates easy velocity. His shoulders are uphill and he strides out on line before landing a bit open and coming to an athletic finish. Northington’s fastball sat 77 in February 2015 with slight sink and good downward plane. His curveball had gradual 12/6 break to it and ran 66-68. He also threw a fading change-up with decent armspeed that ran 65-71. Overall, his command was good and he worked down in the zone. He hit from the left side with a tall and athletic stance that was slightly open. He had a smooth load back with a stride that dives in slightly and good rhythm to his swing. He has a short path to the ball with good extension, and fast hands. Stroke should produce plenty of line drives with potential to find gaps. In the field, he threw from a high three-quarters arm slot. His arm displayed some accuracy. He had average hands and clean footwork with clean exchanges.

Zach Peek, RHP, Jefferson Forest, 2016
Peek committed to Winthrop and is an projectable right hander. He had a basketball injury that caused him to miss the 2015 high school season and the summer showcase circuit. Peek is lanky with a loose, fast arm and a fastball that is consistently in the high 80s, occasionally breaking 90. His secondary pitches have a ton of upside as Peek also does in general.
