With a week full of content on 2025's, here are five players that have made a sizeable jump in the rankings.
See a full breakdown on the five risers.

Rankings risers:

Kase Cochran C / 3B / Westfield, VA / 2025

Cochran stepped into a starting role for the Bulldogs this spring and took advantage of Jonny Farmelo, the 29th overall pick in this year's draft, being on base. Higher set hands with a more upright stance. Short and direct to contact with a level path through the zone. Slightly above average arm strength behind the plate and does a nice job creating direction on throws. Quick exchange and release with a higher hand break and short arm action. Should be one of the best catchers in the NOVA area this spring, as well as a frontline bat for Westfield.

Henry Foresman RHP / 3B / St. Stephens & St. Agnes , VA / 2025

One of the best in event pitching performances of the summer came from Foresman. Long levered 6-foot-3 frame with plenty of room to add strength. The fastball sat mid-upper 80's, getting up as high as 88 mph. Higher release (6.2' avg) with plenty of run on the fastball (<18.5" HM). The fastball got consistent swings and misses in the zone, as well as showing some above average control. As good as the fastball was, the breaking ball was even better. The breaking ball sat between 75-78 mph with nearly 10" of depth and up to 13" of horizontal movement. Well above average spin rate, ranging in the 2500-2700 range with the ability to start and finish counts with the pitch.

Cash McDade C / 1B / Gonzaga College, VA / 2025

After not seeing much action in the spring, McDade had one of the best summers of any catcher in the Mid-Atlantic. Big arm strength behind the plate, advanced receiver, and the bat continues to make strides. After being selected for Future Games, McDade tied for the lead amongst catchers, with six runners thrown out in game. Big arm strength behind the plate, having previously posted a 84 mph catcher velo, and accuracy to the bag. McDade threw out four runners in the final game versus California. As good as the catch and throw was, he showed off the offense as well. Multiple hits on the week with line drives through the middle and backside. McDade has shown some power to the middle and backside of the field, as well as having advanced bat speed that will allow some of the power to play to pull as well.

Matthew Metheny SS / 3B / Princess Anne, VA / 2025

Athletic, lean strength, twitchy, defends, and a swing that plays. Metheny had a breakout season at Princess Anne and showed some explosive offense at times. Arm can stay on the left side, average run tool that plays a touch quicker, and the bat has some sneaky pop. While Metheny could improve on some consistency at the plate, there is no doubt that there is something there.

Conner Worth SS / 3B / Cox, VA / 2025

Making a jump inside the Top 50 is the 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic framed infielder. The offense really made some strides this year and he showed particularly well this summer in the few looks our staff got. Above average bat speed, uses the whole field, and shows doubles power to both gaps. Hands stay tight and stays inside at contact, while efficiently using the backside of the field. Active defender that does a nice job creating angles to work through the catch into the throw. Hands work and shows the ability to stay in the dirt. JMU commit.
