In early August, Prep Baseball Report VA/DC updated and expanded its Class of 2018 Rankings, going from 130 players to 180 while also moving players that were ranked based on what we have seen at our events and on the road scouting all spring and summer. Now that the rankings have been released, we take a closer look at them in today's spotlight:

VA/DC 2018 RANKINGS SPOTLIGHT 141 - 150

SCOUTING REPORT

6.22.17: Lanky frame, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with normal effort. Fastball had heavy, late run, sitting 80-83. Fading change-up with some armspeed, 69-73. Slowed arm a bit on most of his sliders, gradual 10/4 break. Pitch was mostly 64-66, but he threw it once at 68 and it was bit sharper.
