SCOUTING REPORT
5.22.16: At 6-foot-2, 220-pounds Darden is a strong powerful kid with fast, explosive bat speed. He has gap to gap power in his swing and an exit velocity of 101. He really utilizes his lower half and strength through the baseball when he hits. Defensively, Darden is a corner outfielder with a strong arm. He showed a positional velocity of 83 while working through stiff transfer. His throws showed good carry from a long arm action.
