6-foot-1, 190-pound proportional lean frame. During batting practice, Tone had an exit velocity of 88 mph. (68.6 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a toe tap stride. Bat speed is efficient quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels with a lot of loud contact. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 80 mph; had in control footwork, a clean exchange, and sure hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a longer quick arm action and a ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.52. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a compact quick arm action while showing above average arm speed. Slow-tempo tilt-and-topple type pitcher who shows easy effort. Has falling off shoulder with a consistent balance point. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph and topped out at 82 mph; shows late tailing action and feel glove side control. (Max spin 2184; Avg 2110). He shows late sinking action and down in the zone command on his heavy changeup (70-72).
