Q&A

What made Kennesaw State the right fit for you?
+ The atmosphere of the students, campus, and most of all the baseball team made it a right fit for me. Along with the coaches helping me feel at home every step of the way.

What was the recruiting process like?
+ The recruiting process for me was an enjoyable one talking with various schools up and down the east coast , never feeling rushed to make a decision and the decision I made was an enjoyable one which I plan to enjoy for the next four years of my college career.

What other schools did you consider?
+ VCU, UVA, ODU, William and Mary, VMI, ECU, George Mason, VT, etc.

What were key factors you were looking for during the process?
+ I was looking for the school that benefited me with a great coaching staff while getting the most playing time early, along with getting drafted after my college career is finished.

What are your goals now before you step on campus?
+ I would like to continue to get stronger on the field and off, by hitting the weights and throwing bullpens, also I plan to continue increasing my velocity to give me the greatest advantage over my opponents.

What have you learned from your time with your high school / travel organization?
From playing with my travel organization the Evoshield Canes, what I have learned is to act professional at all times during the game. If something isn't going your way on the mound to keep battling and not give up under any circumstances. The Evoshield Canes are a high-class organization who produce a lot of talented baseball players many of which move on to college and are drafted. Also my high school coaches from both Millbrook and North Stafford, I have learned to be a competitor and attack hitters with the fastball early and often.

What advice do you have for players going through the recruiting process?
Enjoy the process it only happens one time, consider all options before making a decision because it's going to affect the next four years of your life.
