On Saturday February 17th PBR Virginia/DC will host the Preseason All-State at the Virginia Sports Complex facility in Ruther Glen, VA. The biggest event prior to the high school season in Virginia will feature some of the top players and prospects around the commonwealth and put them all on one stage in front of the PBR scouting staff. As with all PBR events, all players will get their performance videoed and professionally edited to update or start their PBR Profile. Today we spotlight one of the players on the roster for the event.

Scouting Report
6/21/17 - Projectable frame with room to grow at 5-foot-8, 155-pounds. Hits from a square, balanced set up at the plate. Short rock back load to hitting position, keeps it simple. level swing path with average bat speed and uphill finish with some extension through contact. Looking stronger at the plate and solid foundation. Clean exchange with quick release throwing from behind the plate. Pop time as low at a 2.20. Solid foundation with room to grow and a player to keep an eye on.
2.19.17 - Projectable athletic frame with room to grow at 5-foot-8, 160 pounds. 1.93 10 yard split with a 5.75 40 yard dash. Hits from a square set up with high hands. Short rock back load. Shorter swing path with quick hands and uphill finish. Could get lower half involved more. Exit velocity of 68 mph. Sound footwork and exchange on throws to second. Shorter arm action. Sound hands behind the plate, sticks the ball well. Velocity of 64 from behind the plate with a pop time that ranged from 2.28 – 2.41. Solid foundation in the player, needs to add strength to his frame as he develops.
