As we approach the spring season, we would like to highlight some uncommitted players from across the state that you should get out and see this spring.
Our next stop in the Need To Know (N2K) series highlights four uncommitted 2024's from the western portion of the state.

Alex Bingler is a recent transfer and reclass, moving from Albemarle High School to St. Anne's Belfield. Bingler has a change to be a feature arm for STAB this spring. His ability to spin for strikes, coupled with his slight crossfire delivery, makes him a tough look at times.

Cooper Campbell made a big splash at the Mid-Atlantic State Games and has a chance to be one of the best uncommitted arms in the 2024 class. Sitting in the low 80's from a funky slot and quick pace, Campbell offers a different look and the ability to spin a sweeping slider. He was one of the best arms we saw that weekend and is a small velo jump away from being a potential helium arm this spring. Campbell should make a really good 1-2 punch with EC Glass teammate, Michael Harpster (ETSU).

Kyle Cook is a big physical 6-foot-5 arm with lots of ceiling left. Still has polish to add to the delivery and the secondary is still developing, but the size and rawness offers lots of intrigue for the future.

Tanner Evans may be my favorite uncommitted bat in the 2024 class. Solid, compact frame, short limbs, above average runner, tough, and can absolutely hit. Hits for power, hits for average, and has carry to all fields. Evans is a must see bat this spring for a very offensive Christiansburg team.
