As we approach the spring season, we would like to highlight some uncommitted players from across the state that you should get out and see this spring.

The 2025 class across the state is lining up to be a good one, and the east is a good indicator of that. Plenty of uncommitted talent resides in the 757. Lets take a look at five of those players.

Trey Campos spent most of the fall dinged up. However, Campos has a chance to explode back on the scene this spring for Landstown. Sub-seven runner, advanced arm from the outfield, above average hand and bat speed, and some definite two-way potential on the mound. Plenty of tools at his disposal and this spring and summer could be huge for Campos. 

Although we have only seen Nic Morlang once, some of the things with the makeup and stuff give plenty of reason to be excited about his future. Morlang goes to First Colonial, a program with a long history of developing quality arms. The 6-foot-2 right hander has a pretty easy, efficient operation on the mound. Low 80's fastball with more in his future and the ability to land his secondary for strikes. 

 

Derek Baker makes the fourth Maury High School product we have highlighted in the past few days and he may have the highest upside of all. Had a chance to see him on the mound once this summer and he was pretty good. Worked in the low to mid 80's fairly deep into a pitch count on a Sunday of the tournament. Showed two breaking balls that he landed for strikes, the slider being the best long term out pitch of the two. Short quick arm with some intent when he works. Definitely worth getting eyes on this spring. 

Kyle Flora was a pretty fun watch this summer and fall. The Landstown outfielder put together some ridiculous games at the plate. Line drive hitter, works gap to gap, slightly above average runner, and just has a knack for the barrel. A touch undersized, but we never saw him overmatched in the box. A definite intriguing '25 to see this spring and summer.

When I got a chance to see Western Branch last spring one player that stood out to me was Logan Adams. The Bruins have a history of having hard nose players that "play the game the right way" and Adams seems to fit that mold. There is nothing super flashy about him, but he just gets it done. Hits for average, uses the whole field, and makes plays on the defensive side. He was a freshman on the varsity level and what probably stuck out most, was he never seemed to be overmatched.
