This weekend, players from all corners of Virginia have descended upon Liberty University for the Commonwealth Games. Four teams of All-Stars selected by region will take part in the event, playing a round-robin Friday and Saturday for seeding in Sunday's Medal Round. Here are our notes from Friday night's games:
West
-Jefferson Forest 2019 LHP Griffin Agee showed a lanky 6-5 frame that has a ton of projection. His fastball sat 82-85 and touched 86. Hard, late breaking curveball was 70-73. Showed the ability to move his fastball around the zone and command his breaking ball.
-Chatham 2019 RHP AJ Potojecki
Check the Virginia/DC Scout Blog next week for full reports on the players that we saw this weekend.
