The Miller School Mavericks are your Week 6 Team of the Week. The Mavs won four games on the week, including two come from behind victories over SSSAS and #8 Greenbrier Christian on Saturday. Less than 24 hours before those two games, MSA played Norfolk Academy. The Mavericks shut out NA behind six shutout innings from Evan Hankins. NA has been a thorn in the side of a few top ranked teams, previously defeating Cape Henry and Benedictine earlier in the season. 

The Mavericks have lost five games, but three of those losses have been by one run and the other by two. In addition to playing very very tight games in those losses, they have played one of the toughest schedules in the state and will be battle tested come VISAA playoffs time.

Once again the 👨‍🍳 delivers. JM Szefc delivers a walk off single down the LF line. Tried to go up & in w/ 2K, but as he does, he gets bat on ball and walks it off to finish the comeback.
