Outlook:
The Steward School is coming off of a stellar 2014 season that saw them win the VISAA Division II State Championship. The 2015 Spartans will have a good chance to repeat as they return most of their starting position players and their entire pitching staff. The lineup will be led by Ryan Doggett (CIF, 2015), Jat Charity (OF, 2015), Theron Powell (OF, 2016), Kameron Smith (MIF, 2016), and Dan McCarthy (C, 2016). The deep pitching staff will be led by Virginia’s current Overall 2015 top prospect and 2014 All State selection Nic Enright (RHP/CIF, 2015). The Spartans will have a deep lineup and strong defense to go with their talented pitching staff. With all of that talent, The Steward School will be among the best teams in the Independent Conference and is an early favorite to defend their VISAA Division II title.
