Outlook:
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy is coming off of a strong 2014 that saw them finish as the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools runner-up. The 2015 Saints will have to find new contributors as they graduated most of their pitching staff and over half of their line-up. The Saints’ line-up will be built around Toby Buchanan (MIF, 2015), Sam Neal (OF, 2016), Cole Williams (IF, 2016), Dominic Claxton (OF, 2016), and Mitchell Williams (C, 2017). The pitching staff will be led by Trent Taylor (OF/LHP, 2016). Nansemond-Suffolk should have a strong offense and will be talented defensively in 2015. The Saints will need to receive strong performances from their young pitchers if they wish to return to the TCIS Championship this spring.
