Outlook:
Midlothian is coming off of a strong 2014 regular season that saw them fall in the first round of the conference tournament and miss the 4A South playoffs. The 2015 Trojans will be strong as they return over half of their starting lineup and the bulk of their pitching staff. The lineup will be led by Tanner Fuller (MIF, 2015), C.J. Freedman (OF/P, 2015), and Grant Keller (CIF, 2016). The rotation will be led by Matthew Franklin (P/OF, 2015), Graham Boggio (P, 2015), and Thomas Rysedorph (P, 2016). The Trojans will have a strong team defense to pair with a deep and talented pitching staff as well as excellent team speed and experience and leadership at key positions. If Midlothian can generate some pop and create consistent offense at the bottom of their lineup, they will be one of the more dangerous teams in Conference 20 and a the very deep 4A South.
