Outlook:
Menchville is coming off of a 2014 season that saw them finish above .500 with a young team. The 2015 Monarchs bring back most of their line-up and a couple of pitchers from last year’s squad and look to be improved with that experience. The line-up will be led by seniors Clint Stroble (C, 2015), Evan Spivak (OF, 2015), and Hayden Storms (OF, 2015). The rotation will be led by Jaret West (LHP, 2016) and Ryan Webster (LHP, 2017). The Monarchs have good team speed and a great work ethic. If they can pair that hard work with quality pitching this spring, Menchville will be competitive in the very good Pen-South Conference that also features powerhouses Great Bridge and Hickory.
