Outlook:
Frank W. Cox is coming off of a strong 2014 regular season and just missed making the 6A South tournament. The Falcons lost the bulk of their lineup to graduation, but do return a good chunk of their pitching staff. The lineup will be led this spring by Dan Pertro (OF, 2015), Sam Lipsmeyer (OF, 2015), and Matt Oleszko (CIF/OF, 2015). The pitching staff will be led by Lane Wildman (RHP/CIF, 2015) and Andrew Altman (LHP/1B, 2015). While hurt by graduation, the Falcons do have a strong core of upperclassmen leaders to help them integrate their youngsters into the fold this spring. If Frank W. Cox can grow up quickly, they are talented enough to be a dark horse contender in the Coastal Conference and make the 6A South playoffs.
