Outlook:
Eastern View is coming off of an excellent 2014 season which saw them win Conference 22 and advance to the 4A North playoffs before being eliminated in a well-played game by Sherando, 1-0. The 2015 Cyclones look to be even better as they return eight position players and a handful of arms from last year’s squad. The offense will be led Chayton Lukkes (CIF/OF, 2015), Zac Tocker (OF, 2015), Josh Pittman (MIF/RHP, 2017), and Ray Tricarico (MIF/RHP, 2017). The pitching staff will be the team’s strength this spring and will be led by 2014 2^nd Team Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball All-American A.J. Stead (LHP, 2015) and David Laird (LHP/OF, 2015). The Cyclones will have a pitching staff that will give them a chance against anyone this spring and a deep lineup. If they can solidify their defense up the middle, Eastern View will be the favorite to defend their Conference 22 title and one of the most dangerous teams in the 4A North.
