Outlook:
Chancellor is coming off of a solid 2014 season that saw everything click for them in the playoffs as the advanced all the way to the 4A North semifinals before their season ended. The 2015 Chargers will be solid again as they return a handful of position players from last spring’s squad. The lineup will be led by Chris Ortega (1B, 2015), Nick Winston (OF, 2016), Thomas Cabrera (C/RHP, 2016), and Adam Stillabower (CIF/C, 2016). The pitching staff will be led by Mason Riser (RHP/IF, 2016). The Chargers will be young this season as they build towards a promising 2016, but they will have a solid lineup that features a ton if team speed. If they can mature and some of their younger pitchers step up to provide depth, Chancellor will be a competitive team in Conference 22 and dangerous in the 4A North tournament.
