Outlook:
Cave Spring is coming off of a rebuilding season in 2014 that saw them hang around the .500 mark. 2015 looks to be a better season for the Knights as they return almost all of their position players and their entire pitching staff. The staff will be led by Sam Walker (RHP/OF, 2015) Thomas Forest (LHP, 2016). The defense will be led up the middle by three-year starter Kodi McIlwraith (C, 2015), talented Justin Larkin (RHP/IF, 2016) and youngster Nelson Stanley (OF, 2017). Chase Cundiff (IF/RHP, 2016) and Jordan Stovall (CIF, 2016) round out what should be a balanced and deep line-up for Cave Spring. The Knights will be very competitive this season and will rely on team speed, athleticism, and experience as they look to win the River Ridge District and Conference 32 and make a run in the 3a West Tournament.
