Outlook:
Stone Bridge is coming off of an outstanding 2014 season, winning Conference 14 and the 5A Northern Region before falling in the State Semi-Finals to eventual State Champ Hickory. While the Bulldogs lost their top pitcher in JB Bukauskas (UNC) to graduation, they return almost all of their starting position players and the rest of their pitching staff. The Bulldogs have a deep line-up that will be led by seniors Michael Kuzbel (OF, 2015) and Tanner Karafa (1B, 2015) as well as a talented group of juniors led by Eli Quiceno (C, 2016), John Callahan (MIF, 2016), and Dave Mocabee (3B/RHP, 2016). Mocabee and Brett Kreyer (LHP, 2016) will lead the pitching staff this spring. The Bulldogs will again contend for the 5A Northern Region title this year and they are deep enough to make a run at the 5A State Championship.
