The joint Scout Day with Foothill and Green Valley brought out a wealth of talent of both schools with previous PBR event attendees improving previous numbers and first time attendees making a name for themselves. CSN commit OF Maxwell Leuga had another great showing as one of the top overall performers at the event just as he was at the Uncommitted Upperclass, Uncommitted 2021 OF/C Ethan Yatson threw an event best 2.00 pop time from behind the plate as well as a new personal best 80 mph from the outfield and Cal Hermansen posted an event high 91 from the outfield while showing significant improvement into becoming an effective two-way prospect by sitting 84-85 mph on the mound with raw secondary stuff that showed flashes of potential plus stuff down the road.

The PBR newcomers may have turned the most heads at the event. Uncommitted 2023 IF/C AJ Johnson finishing in the Top 3 in Exit Velocity at 87 mph followed by a round of batting practice that showed an advanced approach with an ability to drive the ball to all fields and eventually turning on a few balls which translated to him leaving the year with relative ease. Johnson will be a prospect to keep an eye on as he continues to add more strength to his 6-foot frame. Not a player that will jump out of the stat sheet with his size or stats, but a player that every coach wants on their team with advanced baseball instincts and grit, Nicky Garritano (son of CSN Head Coach Nick Garritano) is a 5-foot-8 infielder that showed the best infield actions at the event topping out at 72 mph across the diamond that would project him to remain on the right side of infield at second base. He has an easy, repeated swing that stay on plane through the ball and sprays the ball the ball to all fields making him another prospect that will be one to keep an eye on as he continues to mature and develop strength and size.
