The Texas Diamond Notes will focus on highlighting some of the top performances across the state based on nominations from high school coaches. We will highlight positions players, pitchers and two-way players every Tuesday/Wednesday of the high school season that had impressive weeks during their team's games. Special thank you to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.

Thad had triples from both sides of the plate in the same game; 6-for-15, 2 3B, 3 BB, 5 SB, 6 RBI on the week.
+ Jose Rivera, SS, C (McAllen Memorial High School, 2025):
Triple with bases loaded in a tight ballgame to blow it open; 7-for-15 1 2B, 3 3B, 4 BB, 1 SB, 8 RBI on the week.
