Uncommitted Spotlight: 2025 OF Walker Hurst

The 6’1 195 OF/1B from Pearland has a good blend of physicality and speed. He is a good runner, running as low as a 6.61 in front of us this year.  He combines that with some present strength and a lot of bat speed in the box.  He shows the ability to drive the ball to all fields with authority.  He offers some positional versatility, being able to either play outfield or 1st at a high level.  Hurst moved to Pearland for his Jr. season, and is part of a loaded Oilers team this spring.
