Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Mizuno Pitcher and Player of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state. Thanks to Mizuno for sponsoring both awards this season.

Let's take a look at the Mizuno Player and Pitcher of the Week for Week 10 (April 22-April 27).

MIZUNO PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Cade Arrambide C / Tomball, TX / 2024 Rankings  StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 42 / POS: 3 Arrambide capped off his final week of his HS regular season carrer with a bang. He went yard twice in the same game, with one of the blasts being a grand slam. He ended up with seven RBI in that game as the Cougars won 13-1. Arrambide has some serious pop at the plate and pairs it with a quality arm behind the dish.

MIZUNO PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Cooper Harris RHP / FLOWER MOUND H S, TX / 2026 The sophomore righty tossed a no hitter for the Jags against Hebron. The FB was 87-91 with late sink, getting plenty of ground balls along the way. The CB was 72-76. Harris struck out nine and walked two, ultimately leading Flower Mound to the win as they head into playoffs.
