JUCO Uncommitted Spotlights: Fort Scott CC
May 15, 2024
With NJCAA postseason play starting to get underway, we take a look at a handful of name-to-know uncommitted players from Fort Scott Community College.
Ayden Slott
A reliable everyday bat in the Greyhounds order, sophomore OF Ayden Slott is yet again having another strong spring, posting a .331 average over 208 plate appearances and 51 games played. The 5-foot-10, 180 pound righty has showed a combination of speed and power, having racked up 15 doubles, 3 triples, and 6 home runs alongside 23 stolen bases on the year. Additionally, Slott has been the leader in the outfield for Fort Scott, going a perfect 97 for 97 in chances in center field. Where the sophomore really impressed was at our Fort Scott Scout Day last October, posting exit velocities upwards of 103.2 mph with a strong average of 95.5 mph in a loud round of BP. Slott also flashed tools in the outfield with a 92 mph outfield velocity and a 6.60 60 time.
