(WATCH) Week 3: Day 1 Metroplex

DALLAS, TX - Week three of the Texas High School Baseball season will conclude the tournament portion of the early season. Most teams will have their top arms on shorter pitch counts, especially the first starter that will open up district play this coming tuesday. With that being said, we were still able to catch a couple of front line starters.

Clayton Rejebian, RHP, Highland Park HS, 2018
Uncommitted. The right-hander works from a ¾ slot with a loose arm swing and repeatable delivery. His fastball sat 84-86 mph with average life. His best pitch is a slider that comes in at mostly 77-78 mph and varies in depth but comes in with 11/5 shape. Rejebian only threw 50 total pitches in 4 innings, allowing no hits, no runs, and punching out four Guyer hitters, 3 on sliders. He throws his slider with good hand speed and the pitch shows signs of becoming a swing and miss pitch at the next level. For schools that are still looking for arms, Rejebian would be a good fit with his arm speed, feel for spin, and projectable frame. Here are our notes from earlier this spring on Rejebian (Feb 6 Notes).
