TX Player & Pitcher of the Week: Week 6

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Pitcher and Player of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
2023 MIF Micah Dean - Foster - Kansas State Commit
Dean was a tough out to say the least this past week. The Kansas State commit hit for the cycle on Friday for the Falcons. Over their two games in the week, He tallied five hits in seven at bats with two triples, a double and a homerun. Dean is a Future Game Alum and always plays the game hard. He can defend and has some pop in the bat.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
2025 RHP Dillon Brandt - Dallas Jesuit - Uncommitted
Dillon Brandt helped Jesuit Dallas secure a pair of key district wins, finishing the week with 10 innings on the mound and propelling the Rangers to shutout wins over Irving and Highland Park. Against Irving, Brandt threw three innings of one-hit work and struck out four before a complete-game shutout against Highland Park, striking out three and yielding only five hits to the Scots.
