Quick Hits: DFW Unsigned Senior Showcase

McKINNEY, T.X. - Sunday, our PBR Texas staff hosted the DFW Unsigned Senior Showcase to a much anticipated showcase and trials on the confines of Diamond Kings Baseball Academy. The event featured a talented group of unsigned seniors. Today we highlight the prospects in attendance in our Quick Hits Notebook.
Quick Hits
Alex Puente 2B / SS / Arlington Heights, TX / 2021Showed well at the plate with a short, quick swing hitting line drives to the pull-side with a max exit velocity of 90.48 mph. Had clean fielding actions and accurate throws with good carry and the highest infield velo of 82 mph.

Andrew Ender RHP / 3B / Hutto, TX / 2021Had the highest exit velocity in BP of 95.2 mph, hitting line drives to the pull-side with regularity. On the bump, his fastball was 78-79 T80, curveball was 71-72 with 10/4 shape and changeup was 73-75 flashing arm-side action.

Trevor Packan OF / Byron Nelson, TX / 2021Had one of the highest exit velocities of BP with a max of 95.0 mph. Packan showed good ability to hit line drives with regularity to the pull-side. In the outfield, he threw 83 mph with accurate throws.

Corbin Green RHP / Midlothian, TX / 2021had a solid bullpen. His fastball was 81-83 T84 flashing arm-side run, curveball was 70-71 mph with 11/5 shape and changeup was 71-72 mph flashing good depth. Long, clean arm swing from a high ¾ slot.

Clay Kindiger RHP / 1B / Prosper, TX / 2021Showed well in his bullpen. Fastball was 83-84 T85 mph, curveball was 68-70 mph with good sweeping action and his changeup was 72-78 flashing arm-side action.

Josh Livingston 3B / 1B / Prosper , TX / 2021Had a solid day with a good round of BP. His max exit velocity was 91.46 mph, hitting line drives with regularity and flashing pull-side power. In the field, he showed clean actions with accurate throws.

Joshua Hitt OF / RHP / Princeton, TX / 2021Had the best day all-around. He ran the fastest 60 yard dash with a 6.94 sec, then had the highest outfield velo of 88 mph. In BP, he had a max exit velocity of 92.84 mph, hitting balls with regularity to the pull-side, flashing power to the pull-side as well. On the mound, he was 85-86 T87 with his fastball, flashing arm-side run. His breaking ball flashed 11/5 and 10/4 shape at 74-77 mph with sweeping action and his changeup was 78-79 mph.

+ 1B Nathan Coruegdo (Paraclete, CA, 2021) had a solid round of BP with a max exit velocity of 94.65 mph, hitting balls to the pull-side with regularity. Showed clean actions at first base as well.
