HUNTSVILLE, TX - PBR Texas Associate Scout Jacob Kelly made the trip to Sam Houston State this weekend to see Sam Houston State host Rice on Friday, as well as Navarro Junior College and Galveston Junior College on Sunday. Here are video and notes on some of the arms that stood out.

Friday, October, 19

Addison Moss, RHP, Rice, Jr.
6-foot-1, 190-pounds. The right-hander works from an over the top slot with a short, quick arm stroke with effort. Fastball was 91-93 with slight arm side run, and he does a nice job of spotting up the four spot to right-handed hitters. Can spin his curveball early in the count at 76-78 mph with 11/5 shape. Located curveball better to RHH’s, where as he left the pitch up to LHH’s. Goes to the slider later in the count at 84-86 mph with more 10/4 shape.
