KATY, TX - 2018 LHP Carson Rollins was masterful on the mound for Tompkins HS, going seven innings against district leading Seven Lakes. Rollins, an Oklahoma recruit and No. 91 ranked player in Texas 2018 class, attacked the Seven Lakes’ hitters with three pitches in and around the strike zone all night. He also led his club offensively, going 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and a walk. Tompkins had four hitters with at least two hits. Junior centerfielder Harrison Stovern, a Harvard recruit and No.114 ranked player in Texas 2018 class, delivered a big blow in the top of the second when he launched a towering 3-run home run. Clean-up hitter 2018 Wilson Ehrhardt had a nice day as well, going 2-for-2 with a line drive home run to left-centerfield and two walks. Seven Lakes is a talented offensive club, but struggled to get any rhythm off Carson Rollins.
