TOP-RANKED UNCOMMITTED

State (MI) Rank: No. 20

+ Jack Manzella, RHP/SS (Fraser HS, MI, 2026):

Travel Team: Detroit Prospects (Capoferi)

“Manzella has been breaking out on the mound in 2024, with mid-80s stuff from a loose, athletic arm action and delivery. He reached a 87.3 mph max at the Michigan Top Prospect Games in late June, paired with a swing-and-miss breaking ball, 71-74 mph, that spun efficiently at 2,400 rpm at times. Metrically, the fastball exhibits some premium vertical action/carry, measuring at 19.7 IVB from a 5.6 ft. release height on average.”

State (MI) Rank: No. 77

+ Eliot Goerge, 2B/RHP (Kalamazoo Central HS, MI, 2026):

Travel Team: ATH Stampede 16U

“From the Around the Horn Scout Day in February: 5-foot-10, 155-pound. (60.5 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open stance with a controlled load, then uses a long stride. Was able to create some loud contact and found some barrels.Capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; shows consistent hands, a lengthy natural exchange, and in control consistent feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Capable, confident on the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a loose arm action with a side arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses decent effort. Showed a consistent balance point. Displayed an athletic finish (Max spin: 2,299 rpm; avg. 2,253).”

State (MI) Rank: No. 121

+ Ethan Yen, RHP/UTL (Lakeland HS, MI, 2025):

Travel Team: Canes Michigan Scout 17U

“Yen has a quick, athletic arm that was 84-86 mph at a recent Battle at the Crossroads tourney in mid-June. The curveball, 73-77 mph, is a pitch he has feel for with above-average action. The fastball also has late arm-side life that he can spot well.”

State (MI) Rank: No. 163

+ Carson Landino, RHP/OF (Eisenhower HS, MI, 2024):

Travel Team: 18U Hit Dogs

“Landino has some long levers that make him one of the more projectable arms on this list. He reached an 87 mph high at our Battle of the Crossroads tourney last month, on a fastball that works off a steep plane, leaving an over-the-top slot, carrying downhill. He can really spin a breaking ball too, 74-77 mph, with 12/6 action that flashed sharp bite in June.”

State (MI) Rank: No. 168

+ Nolan Harris, C/3B (Dow HS, MI, 2025):

Travel Team: Midland Explorers 17U

“Smith has a simple right-handed swing, geared for contact skills at the plate, which he displayed this past spring for Dow. He uses the whole field well, and he has some innate strength that helps his bat-to-ball traits play up.”

State (MI) Rank: No. 188

+ Brady Dorscht, SS/RHP (Vicksburg HS, MI, 2025):

Travel Team: ATH Stampede 16U

“From the Around the Horn Scout Day in February: 6-foot-1, 190-pound. (72.4 mph bat speed average). (20.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide stance with a long load, then used a long stride. Barreled up a few balls with some loud contact. Raw capable in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 81 mph; has consistent hands, a lengthy exchange, and average feet. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front.”
