TOP-RANKED UNCOMMITTED

State (MN) Rank: No. 7

+ Collin Heckman, RHP (Burnsville HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Americans

“The No. 7 ranked player in Minnesota and No. 450-ranked player nationally, Hickman presents a 6-foot-4, 185-pound frame with quality actions on the mound. The right-handed pitcher throws out of a 3/4 arm slot and has shown a three-pitch mix, highlighted by an upper-80s fastball that has topped at 90 mph, additionally showing an upper-70s slider and changeup that has sat around 84 mph.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 12

+ Jaxon Hams, RHP (Lincoln HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Americans

“Hams is ranked No. 12 in Minnesota due to his intriguing profile on the mound. The right-handed pitcher throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot, showing a fastball in the upper-80s to low-90s range, and he pairs it with a mid-70s slider and a changeup at 78-84 mph. 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame.”

State (IL) Rank: No. 21

+ Cooper Eggert, RHP/OF (Providence Catholic HS, IL, 2025):

Travel Team: Cangelosi Sparks Black 2025

From a state playoff appearance in early June: “Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 21 in the state, presenting an athletic and loose-bodied 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame. Eggert got the start for the Celtics in the State Semifinal matchup and continued to show to be one of the top remaining uncommitted arms in the state. He pitched with a ton of moxie and confidence, while keeping his composure when his team needed him most; most notably escaping a bases loaded jam in a tie game in the bottom of the sixth. The righty worked with a three-pitch arsenal, working all offerings in and around the zone. His fastball played with occasional run at 84-87 mph, holding velo throughout the outing. Eggert would also toss in a cutter at 79-83 to miss right-handed barrels to induce ground balls. His go-to secondary offering was a 75-78 mph slider that played in the zone with sharp break for swing and miss. Eggert turned in a final line of: W, 7 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 2 BB, 6 K.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 25

+ Mason Sommer, LHP (West Bend East HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB STiKS Black

From the West MKE Preseason ID: “Sommer is a high-upside left hander who possesses one of the higher ceilings in the state. The 6-foot-5, 168-pound lefty has long levers with a lean and wiry build that seems capable of handling more strength. It’s an up-tempo delivery with a high leg-lift and athletic movement downhill, leading to a full arm action into a ¾ slot. Sommer sat in the mid-80s and topped at 85.7 mph on his fastball, showing a 4-seamer with life and a sinker with arm-side run. His upper-60s curveball has depth with some sweeping action, while his changeup sinks to the arm-side at 75-77 mph.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 27

+ Hayden Vucinovich, RHP (Bloomington Jefferson HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Nationals

“Vucinovich presents an intriguing profile on the mound highlighted by a high spin upper-80s fastball (2330 avg rpm) and is paired with a low-70s curveball (2,453 rpm avg.). The right-handed pitcher comes from a high 3/4 arm slot, moving with plenty of athleticism with a 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 29

+ Bryce Loker, RHP/INF (Omro HS, WI, 2026):

Travel Team: 5 Star Wisconsin 17U - Squeeze

From the Milwaukee Preseason ID: “[Loker] lit up the TrackMan on the mound on Saturday with a loose delivery and a quick arm through the baseball. Loker delivered the sixth hardest fastball (89.5 mph) of the event from an over the top slot driving it downhill showing quality touch and feel to get the ball to spots in the zone. He paired it with a sharp 12/6 top to bottom curveball that he showed the ability to land in the zone and get below the zone. His 74-76 mph change up has late downer movement and is thrown with fastball intent which rounds out his quality three pitch mix. Loker’s bullpen was one of the best performances of the event and proves why our staff continues to be high on him.”

Loker will be in attendance at the Future Games as part of Team Wisconsin.

State (WI) Rank: No. 30

+ Cooper Jesperson, RHP/OF (Eau Claire Memorial HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Eau Claire A's 17U Blue

From a performance in July 2023: “Listed at 6-foot-3, 165 pounds, we got our first look at [Jesperson], who was impressive on both sides of the ball. At the plate, the incoming junior featured a whippy barrel that made efficient contact and worked with an opposite-field approach. The Eau Claire Memorial two-way impressed on the mound, which garnered attention on Tuesday. Jesperson displayed a high leg kick that transitioned into a smooth delivery with intent through extension. He showcased a whippy, fluid arm action that works quickly through the arm motion. His repertoire contained a fastball, a slider, and a splitter. Jesperson ran his fastball up to 85 mph as the pitch seemed to jump out of his hand without effort. His slider was the most impressive of the three pitches as it contained a tight break throughout with feel for placement. His third pitch, a splitter, was a complement to the first two pitches and contained some depth with a foundation to develop the pitch into a respectable third option. Jesperson’s performance and display of ability at Tuesday’s event puts him on our radar for the rest of the summer and into his junior season.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 31

+ Jacob Haughton, RHP (Racine Case HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Hitters 2025

From the South MKE Preseason ID: “Haughton the 6-foot-2, 209-pound right-hander displayed innate arm speed with a fastball up to 90.3 mph, sitting mostly in the upper-80s throughout his ‘pen. He spun his curveball over 2,400 rpm at times, playing with 11/5 action. His changeup was firm out of the hand at 80-83 mph, playing with horizontal action and landed in the zone for strikes. With the bat, Haughton has notable bat speed as a result of serious hand strength and hand quickness through the ball. He had the seventh highest exit velocity of the event at 96.5 mph and the fifth highest average exit velocity at 89.3 mph with a max distance of 324 feet. Meanwhile, his 6.70 60-yard dash was an event best, along with his max vertical jump height of 34.3 inches, which proves Haughton to be one of the best athletes in attendance, and really the entire state.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 33

+ Jack Roventini, RHP (Arrowhead HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Midwest Halos Scout 2025

From September 2023: “Recently debuting on Wisconsin’s 2025 rankings board, RHP Jack Roventini (Arrowhead, 2025) provided yet another impressive look at The Rock. Listed at an athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, Roventini is an athletic and clean mover on the bump, pairing it with a deceptive arm path that certainly makes it tough to pick up for opposing batters. Throughout his three innings of relief, Roventini sat in the 85-87 mph range with his fastball and showed the ability to go in and out of the zone with it, too. He was also confident in sweeping breaking ball in the mid-70s that earned swings-and-misses.”

Roventini will be in attendance at the 2024 Senior Future Games for Team Upper Midwest.

State (MN) Rank: No. 33

+ Joe Timmerman, RHP/3B (Rosemount HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Nationals

“Timmerman has shown an intriguing profile on the mound highlighted by a mid-80s fastball (2,308 rpm avg.), mid-70s slider (2,286 rpm), and a changeup that hovers around 79 mph (1,447 rpm); listed inside a 6-foot, 196-pound frame.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 34

+ Charlie Slawinski, RHP/INF (Brookfield East HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB STIKS Black

From the West MKE Preseason ID: “Slawinski showed an impressive skill set on both sides of the ball, with upside at both shortstop and on the mound. At the plate he showed rhythm with his hands, a flat bat path with line drives up-the-middle and to the pull side. His 97.2 mph max exit velocity was among Saturday’s best. Defensively, he showed the ability to stick at shortstop with quality actions and feet, lateral quickness with body control and soft hands. It’s a loose athletic arm up to 89 mph across the diamond, with the ability to throw on the move with accuracy. On the mound, Slawinski used an uptempo delivery and a short arm path on the mound, with athletic, downhill movement. The fastball sat strictly 86-87 mph with life out of the hand and to the arm-side run. His curveball showed sharp 11/5 break, complimenting his fastball well. The junior also flashed a developing changeup at 79-81 mph.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 35

+ Sam Hirthe, RHP (New Berlin Eisenhower HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Prospect Training Academy 17U Marchese

From a high school outing this past March: “Long 6-foot, 167-pound frame with room to fill out. Got the start in game two of the double-header against Greendale. Out of an easy and athletic delivery, Hirth ran his fastball up to 87 mph in his outing, while sitting 84-86 throughout. He went to a sweeping breaking ball in the mid-70s pretty often, showing quality feel to throw it in the zone for strikes and out of it for swing-and-miss. While he didn’t go to it much, he also does possess a high-70s changeup that has shown out-pitch potential in our previous looks, too. He would finish his outing with six strikeouts across his 4.1 inning of work, and scattered just two hits while walking just one. After hitting an 89 mph high at the South Milwaukee ID just a couple of months ago, Hirthe continued to impress during his first start of the season and is certainly an uncommitted name-to-know in the state’s 2025 class.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 35

+ Teddy Juaire, RHP/OF (Lakeville North HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Nationals

“Juaire is the no. 35-ranked player in Minnesota’s 2025 class and presents a solid 6-foot-2, 210-pound frame. The right-handed pitcher works with a quick tempo, coming from a 3/4 arm slot with an 83-85 T86 mph fastball that is paired with a 72-76 mph slider and 77-79 cut fastball.”

State (IN) Rank: No. 37

+ Trevor Fenters, RHP/3B (Valparaiso HS, IN, 2025):

Travel Team: Cangelosi Sparks 2025 Jones

“Fenters is the No. 37-ranked player in Indiana’s 2025 Class and offers an intriguing profile on the mound. The right-handed pitcher has shown a solid four-pitch mix, highlighted by a fastball that has been up to 91 mph with ride and run. The rising senior has also shown an upper-60s two-plane curveball, a low-70s sweeper tendency slider, and a low-70s changeup with arm side fade. 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 39

+ Drew Huebner, RHP/1B (Morris HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Nationals

“Huebner has shown a solid profile on the mound with a fastball in the 84-88 mph range that is paired with a 72-76 mph curveball and 75-77 mph split-fingered fastball. The right-handed pitcher comes from a high 3/4 arm slot with an intriguing 6-foot-4. 210-pound frame.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 40

+ Dylan Campeau, RHP/ (Greendale HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Midwest Halos Scout 2025

From the Appleton Summer Open: “Campeau broke out as a name-to-know in the state the prior weekend, and reaffirmed his status as one of the top uncommitted arms in the state on Tuesday. The right-hander was responsible for the loudest ‘pen of the day, running his fastball up to 91.6 mph sitting 87-91 throughout his ‘pen. His fastball plays with run and life through the zone as he flashed the ability to command it to different parts of the zone. Campeau also showed two different offspeed pitches that look to play right now. The first is an upper-70s curveball that flashed sharp 11/5 break with above-average spin at 2,500-plus rpm. Rounding off his arsenal is a running low-80s changeup that he worked around the zone with. Campeau is one of the top uncommitted arms in Wisconsin and will be representing Team Upper Midwest in the upcoming Senior Future Games later this month.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 44

+ William Mitchell, RHP/3B (Eagan HS, MN, 2026):

Travel Team: MN Grizzlies 17U Gold

“Mitchell is the No. 44-ranked player in Minnesota’s 2026 class and presents a 6-foot, 185-pound frame with athletic movements on the mound. The right-handed pitcher comes from a 3/4 arm slot and has shown a fastball in the 82-84 mph range with a 73-75 slider and upper-70s changeup. ”

State (IL) Rank: No. 48

+ Calen Scheider, RHP (Hampshire HS, IL, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB Rays Illinois Green

From the McHenry Preseason ID: “[Scheider] once again impressed our staff on both sides of the ball, and he’s likely just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. Listed at a lean and projectable 6-foot, 155-pounds, Scheider still has plenty of room to pack on strength in the coming years. On the mound, the right-hander displayed a loose and easy arm action from a ¾ slot, creating a notable amount of sink on his fastball that cruised around 84-88 mph, topping out at 88.9 mph. He maintains arm-speed on both his breaking balls, with his curveball coming in around 75-76 mph with tight, sharp 11/5 shape. His slider plays harder in the upper-70s, coming in with more lateral action at times. He also featured a changeup to cap off his dynamic arsenal, playing with late dive and heavy run (T17.6”), flashing the ability to land it for strikes.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 49

+ Joey Andrada, RHP (Wayzata HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Selects Baseball 2025s Nationals

“Andrada offers an intriguing 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame which generates a solid profile on the mound. The right-handed pitcher comes from a high 3/4s arm slot and has shown a fastball in the upper 80s as the highlighted offering of a four-pitch mix. The rising senior has also shown an upper-60s curveball, mid-70s slider, and mid-70s changeup. ”

State (WI) Rank: No. 49

+ Logan Zaverl, RHP/3B (Germantown HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Brew State Baseball Academy U17

From the Milwaukee Preseason ID: “[Zaverl] is a 6-foot, 188-pound right-hander who showed off some explosive athleticism after jumping nearly 31 inches (30.90 inches) on his vertical jump. We saw Zaverl perform well as a third-baseman earlier in the winter, but Saturday he showed what he can do on the mound and he certainly did not disappoint. The junior repeated a loose and dynamic delivery with serious arm speed and was up to 90 mph with forward life finish through the zone. The slider was a sharp and quick breaker that was in the zone consistently showing quality feel for the pitch that came out of the same slot as the fastball. He rounded out his arsenal with a fading change up that he showcased quality feel for the pitch. Zaverl took a big step forward on the mound in this look and there is definitely more upside here as his body has more room to add mass and strength.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 56

+ Abu Kalokoh, RHP/RHP (Benilde-St Margaret's HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: Minnesota Starters - 17U National

“Kalokoh has an intriguing profile on the mound highlighted by a fastball in the 85-87 mph range. The right-handed pitcher also throws a curveball that hovers around 71 mph and a mid-70s slider. 6-foot, 180-pound frame. ”

State (IL) Rank: No. 60

+ Mason Orton, LHP/OF (Mahomet-Seymour HS, IL, 2025):

Travel Team: Rawlings Tigers HOI

“Orton offers an intriguing left-handed pitching profile with a fastball that has been up to 88 mph. Standing at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds, there is room for added strength gains. The rising senior also offers a low-80s changeup, low-70s curveball, and low-80s slider.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 60

+ Rocco Conrad, RHP/1B (New Berlin West HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB STIKS Black

From the Milwaukee Preseason ID: [Conrad] worked out for our staff exclusively as a right-handed pitcher in this look, but we have seen him as an intriguing two-way prospect in previous looks. Conrad stands 6-foot-3, 239 pounds and is an athletic mover through the delivery. He repeated a simple and easy move through the ball and was delivering his fastball at 87-90 mph showing the ability to get through areas of the zone. His fastball showed 18.9 inches of induced vertical break which is an above-average mark. He also threw a short breaking slider and splitter with depth. It was yet another impressive look on the mound from Conrad who is poised to have a big spring and summer season.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 69

+ Joseph Suokko, LHP/1B (Westosha Central HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Hitters 2025

From the South MKE Preseason ID: “Listed at 6-foot-4, 210-pounds, the southpaw has some deception in his delivery and arm angle, producing a fastball with heavy run/sink at 84-85 mph. His curveball spun at over 2,300 rpm at times, playing at 72-74 mph with sweeping action which he landed for some strikes. His final offering was a heavy fading changeup with over 16” of run at times at 77-78 mph with feel for the zone.”

State (IL) Rank: No. 71

+ Charlie Taczy, RHP/INF (Cary-Grove HS, IL, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB Rays Illinois Green

From a high school outing in May: “Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 91 in the class of 2025. Listed at 6-foot, 155-pounds with a lean, athletic frame with room to add weight. The right-handed hitter got the start as the designated hitter and batted fourth in the lineup. Balance stance with a toe-tap trigger, consistent, compact swing through the zone, has the ability to hit to all fields. Taczy picked up two hits, going 2-for-4 on the day with a double. During his first at-bat, Taczy took an 88 mph fastball to left field for a single. Second at-bat picked up his second hit of the game on a 2-2 count, driving the baseball over the right fielder's head for a double. Taczy is currently batting .297 on the year to lead the team.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 73

+ Brody Schulte, RHP (Westosha Central HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: Hitters 2025

From the Kenosha Preseason ID: “[Schulte] stands a long 6-foot-4, 176 pounds with a frame that will likely add more mass and strength. He consistently drove his fastball through spots in the zone topping out at an event best 86.3 mph. He paired the fastball with a hard two-plane breaking slider that he was able to land in the zone and get below the zone for chase. Schulte’s change up is a definite weapon as he throws it downhill out of the same window as his fastball with a quality sell of the pitch. Schulte is poised for a big spring season, and we look forward to continuing to monitor his development.”

State (WI) Rank: No. 74

+ William Baumhardt, RHP/RHP (Slinger HS, WI, 2025):

Travel Team: GRB STIKS Black

From the Madison Preseason ID: “[Baumhardt] is another upside arm that impressed on Sunday. Out of a simple delivery, the 6-foot-1 200 pound Baumhardt ran his fastball up to 86.3 mph with above average spin and carry traits. Off that he spun in a sweeping curveball that averaged 15.8” of horizontal break while maxing out at over 20” and sitting 69-72 mph range. He also was able to throw in a cutter for strikes and it played with nearly 8” of cut through the zone.”

State (MN) Rank: No. 77

+ Cole Lindberg, RHP/SS (Buffalo HS, MN, 2025):

Travel Team: P2P Millers Landgrebe

“Lindberg is the No. 77-ranked player in Minnesota’s rising senior class. The right-handed pitcher offers a solid four-pitch mix with a fastball in the 83-85 mph range, an upper-70s-low-80s changeup, a low-70s curveball, and a low-70s slider. 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with room for growth.”
