Following an electric start in Game One by his teammate Bo Holloway, Allen faced a tough draw in facing Team Texas. He was unfazed, however, as he would be PERFECT across two innings of work striking out four in the process. During his outing, which would end up awarding him 'Most Valuable Pitcher' of the event, he would get his fastball up above 92 mph, nearly grabbing a round-up 93 – all while also working with an extremely sharp curveball. Allen would get ahead of the count with ease, picking up 5 first-pitch strikes in his two clean innings. A staff favorite arm action in the class, the South Gibson product works with an easy, yet intentful delivery that will continue to develop very well. With a large group of power five coaches in attendance, Allen stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park (which couldn't be said for the batters he faced). 

(‘26, South Gibson County) The Team Tennessee member for the 2023 Future Games was impressive in a short relief outing today. The sophomore worked up to 88 mph in an inning and ⅓, with a sharp slider. The #1 ‘26 ranked P in the state and #2 overall is still getting ramped up after a full basketball schedule. Allen who has been up to 91 will look to be there and more going forward in the season for the hornets going into the summer.
